Had a lovely stay

Stayed for 4 nights with the children in a 2 bedroom apartment and was pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews.
Staff were amazing and so welcoming and accommodating. Being an Accor platinum, received welcome amenities, chocolates, muesli bars, water and complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was lovely and fresh everyday and had plenty of options (more than you’d have yourself at home on a daily basis).
The room was large with a queen in 1 and singles in the 2nd. Beds were very comfy and streaming services available on the 2 TVs. Full cooking facilities available as well and a modern bathroom.
Parking super easy and right out the front. The pool was very welcoming on the 40deg days we had. Great location in town.
The only thing was the room had a funny musky smell which I didn’t like … but sorted with some ambi pur air freshener / deodoriser. For the price id definitely stay again and certainly will be the next time I visit family in Wagga.

Very Disappointed

Badly managed. Rooms not cleaned properly, very poor function catering and management not interested in customer service.

More Motel Than Hotel!

Stayed for two nights while visiting family in Wagga. More a motel than a hotel, but pleasant clean and comfortable. The young lady on reception when we checked in wasn't very friendly or welcoming. Had dinner in the restaurant one night which was enjoyable with pleasant friendly staff. Hate their credit card fee, always makes me angry. Shoutout to housekeeping who did a great job!

Perfectly situated for a great family stay

The mercure is situated in a good spot and walking distance to shops and aquatic center. The parking is good, the rooms are clean and tidy and spacious. The downside is the shower. They definitely need fixing, it's extremely noisy and rattling and hard to get the proper temperature.
Staff at reception and in the restaurant could be warmer and more welcoming.
