Business trip in Shenzhen for Expo
Reception check in counter is on 26th floor which same floor with the V cafe for breakfast, Hotel staffs are attentive and friendly, room are spacious, cleanliness still need to improve.
Hotel breakfast lot of choices and not bad at all.
This is a experienced and impressive trip to me for Shenzhen

Great hotel with apartment-like rooms
There are plenty of dining options available nearby, at the malls above ground (including one next door) and the huge one underground connecting the various office buildings in the area.
Breakfast buffet was good, though the hotel needs to make a bit more of an effort to provide protein options besides one choice of eggs and bacon or sausage. The options were one carbohydrate choice after another (dim sum, noodles, fruit, pastries, rice, cereal, congee).
The gym at the Wongtee was excellent with both cardio and weights (though I wished they would turn the volume down on some of the TVs). I didn't try the pool though it looked very clean and of good size.
As some have mentioned, the front desk isn't staffed with fluent English speakers, but I commend the team for calling someone over who could help or being sufficiently patient in working through the language barrier.
Overall, if you have business in the area, I would rank this as a very solid or top choice, particularly if there is a price savings versus some of the American-owned hotels located nearby.

A convenient location for Exhibition center just opposite
Staff is nice and very friendly - but one could have wished for staff that master English language better. I KNOW, I was in China, but it IS not a cheap , quick solution in the sticks we are talking pretty spicy money her, and not all can be expected to speak Chinese.
Of the staff,Ms Liu and the Pakistan originated service guy in 1F and Lester at 26F stood out. Staff at Breakfast Buffet also very kind and helpful.
Breakfast buffet well assorted. Rooms clean - actually the maid surprised by speaking better English than reception staff !!??

Clean and spacious room
The gym was well equipped.
Breakfast was rather average - mostly Chinese food. No egg order counter and the quality of the intercontinental/american part of the breakfast is not very high. Coffee could be improved.
