While our room was compact, we had the surprise of getting the honeymoon suite (figures on the door plus spa bath with a river view.

After leaving the UK at 5.30 I arrived at the hotel at 20.20 to find it shut! I had emailed them the day before and was told someone would be on reception until 21.00. If this is the level of service they offer I would be wary of booking.

A positive surprise

Botnia Hotel was a very pleasant experience. It's well situated in the centre of Kronoby, close to the picturesque old church. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. The most pleasant surprise was that our room (which was cosy and clean) had a luxurious bubble bath and an infrared sauna! All this added to the fact that the room was quite inexpensive made our stay very relaxing. I would definitely recommend Botnia Hotel as an alternative for hotels and camping areas in the region of Pietarsaari and Kokkola.
If you are interested in the local landmarks, the hotel is only a stone's throw away from 18th century Tolvmansgården court with old buildings. Another interesting nearby site is the 17th century Korpholmen leper hospital area, where the wooden hospital church has been recently rebuild.

Excellent small family like hotel and superb staff

Thsi is one of the best small hotels in Finland. Cousy and intimate small hotel located close to Kokkola, but much better price/value ratio than Kokkola downtown. Special thanks to hotel/restaurant staff who is extreamly professonal, service minded and open for visitors communication regardless of subject. Highly recommended stop over if you are in western part of Finland. Extra plus for special pizza selection - Ask for Botnias Chef's Special and you will be suprised - in a good way ;o))

Pikku stoppi

Pieni motelli tyyppinen, toimiva stoppi. Majoituimme pihan perällä olevaan lisärakennukseen. Siisti vaikka kulunutta pintaa. Kohtuu hiljan uusittu iso pesuhuone. Ja ilmastointi oli hieno plussa. Kävimme aamupalalla erikseen maksaen, pienehkö tarjonta mutta paikkakin pieni, ihan riittävä ja hyvä.
