Our paradise
The site is beautiful and Régis and his team are at the top! Not too present, not enough, just enough to make everything go perfectly.
We regret nothing, if it were to be done again, we would do everything exactly the same!!!

Scam
That nasty smell came from the bathroom. The exterior setting is very beautiful but you will have understood, I absolutely do not recommend this place. A Las Vegas wedding to Elvis is worth a thousand times this place.

The Property Owner A crook
Once the first appointment you pass and you start paying the Owner add sums that were not included in the contract.
In addition, the condition of the accommodation was unhealthy, apart from the doormat!
Water leaking from the ceiling that flows over the bride and groom’s table (Trip Tip: Go ahead when it’s 30 degrees).
The property owner counts people who are in the room, as an aunt as well as in the parking lot (people sleeping in their cars) and adds 50 euros per head.
In short if you want to lose a certain amount of money go for it!!!

Run away!
If bad faith were to be embodied by one person, it would certainly be the current property owner of Le Petit Moulin du Rouvre. If his goal was to ruin our marriage, he succeeded several times in the end!
This individual is absolutely not accommodating or human. It is obvious that he has little concern for the welfare of the people who come to celebrate their marriage on his estate; his only interest seems to be money scraping at any Award. It keeps adding costs, without clearly explaining the reasons at the outset. Thereafter, it gradually reveals all kinds of additional costs by systematically justifying itself by the presence of a contract.
When we wanted to rent the place, it was very nice and accommodating, but on the day of the wedding and a little before, it completely changed face. He proved to be someone totally closed to discussion and criticism, even though we were paying dearly for a quality service and a minimum of respect. At one point, he even told us, dirty words! Totally unacceptable behavior! All this because we made him our return at the end of the marriage.
We have booked rooms and cabins which, despite their simplicity, are charged at the High Award, like luxury rooms. In addition, some cabins or rooms were not properly cleaned when we arrived; we even found garbage cans full. He didn’t have at first that by number of people in the rooms or Cabin he would raise the Award! The cleanliness of the place is really not its strength! It hurts our hearts to have paid so much for having had that in the end... he also charged us extra fees on the pretext that the music had not been turned off, although it was turned down as agreed. This is a wedding, after all, and the estate is miles from any dwelling!
We had rented the place for our wedding weekend, but other people were present in the rooms at the same time as us, which prevented me from preparing serenely and on time. On top of that, he picked me up, the bride, while I was with my guests, to give me the keys to the cabins. Even though we had agreed that he would give them to me before the ceremony! He had absolutely no respect for the fact that I wanted to enjoy my guests. I was the bride, though!
When we first met, he seemed very kind, accommodating and welcoming, but it was just a front. He looks like a good person, but he is a charlatan.
He even intervened with our guests at the end, mainly children, to stop playing because he wanted to close, when we were only 15 minutes late to leave the premises. This is unheard of! Especially since he had noticed that we had been delayed by sudden showers. But no, this man is inflexible, completely insensitive to the needs of the bride and groom and their guests. He can yell at our guests at the time of heavy rain outside who really left 2 min under a place “we had not paid”.
On the other hand, he did not mind enjoying our wedding fireworks with his friends. Clearly, to avoid! It is obvious that his only desire is to get rid of his estate and sell it.
Disgusted with this kind of human being who have no heart or empathy! I hope he’s happy to get us the extra Silver Award unfairly when we are two newlyweds.
