Wonderful Gem!!

This is an amazing little gem and before you think there isn't any curtains check the switches on the wall. There are automatic ones that you employ when you need it dark. The breakfast is everything anyone could ever want! Bacon, sausage, eggs, pastries, bread, fruit, yoghurt, veggies, meats and cheeses. Absolutely wonderful! Get coffee, tea, juice, latte, cappuccino etc with your breakfast. Staff is warm and helpful. Here at Hotel Bohm you can get a single room all the way up to an apartment with a full kitchen and laundry. The location is perfect for restaurants, bakeries, coffee, clothing, grocery and the military post Grafenwohr. Open a window in the evenings for cool air for sleeping. This was not our first visit. Put what you know about American hotels in your pocket and remember Europe is different. Be open to all the new around you!!

Nice, clean.

Clean and cozy, breakfast included.
Pros:
- downtown
- very close to base
- nice sized breakfast buffet
- very clean
- nice staff
- bacon
- bulk shampoo dispensers (much more waste free than small individual bottles)
- WiFi
Cons:
- becoming more common in Germany, this personal touch-free key box check in. Don’t like it at all. Gives one the sense that the guest isn’t important enough to greet in person.
- parking leaves guests doing the duffel bag drag from the street parking to the back entrance.
- runny scrambled eggs
- CNN played during breakfast.
- poor television channel selection. Barely has the basics. Vast majority of channels blocked…or something that prevents watching them.

Great food and service...German Style

We have ate there twice during our visits to Germany and have found the food and service is wonderful! The vibe is very nice but I did find the lighting a bit bright in the evening. Parking is hassle free and well lit as well. Everything on the menu is yummy too.

It is a good place to taste German dishes, all good, tasty and well prepared.
If you came Here in Grafenwohr, don’t forget to visit it cause it worths it.
And their prices are not so much expensive. Thanks

Horrible

I do not understand how this hotel has such good reviews. We stayed here about a month ago and were extremely disappointed. In fact, we have never stayed at such a bad hotel in our lives. To give some background, we are frequent campers and backpackers as well so do not need any sort of luxury at all - but a room with tiles missing in the bathroom, wallpaper coming up, terribly uncomfortable bed, broken TV, tiny shower, and terrible smell is not something to pay close to 100EUR for. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Perhaps if the room was 20EUR it would have been okay but this was a total sham. In addition to the room that looked like a dilapidated prison, the restaurant was closed the entire time we were there. We figure this room is priced as it is because it caters to the military and is at the top of the allowable TLA/TLE cost. With that said, if you are military and PCSing, do not stay here. The one redeeming quality is that the breakfast was good and the woman who was working/cooking the food was very nice. The room was clean which is definitely a plus, but it was dated and dilapidated is an understatement. The hotel is a total rip off and we almost didn't even stay there after walking in and seeing the room.

I respect what you are writing – however, allow me to clarify some facts: the wallpaper is not coming up in any of our rooms, there are no tiles missing in any of the bathrooms, mattresses are in a good shape, there is not a single TV broken,the dimensions of the shower are German standard size (so not tiny at all). We are no 4 star hotel and do not claim to be one. The pricing of our rooms is reasonable for our services offer. Overall, we feel your review is not reflecting the reality in our house.
