Lovely place, friendly staff

My partner and I stayed here in July '19 and it was a lovely place to stay. Very affordable, the owners were so friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the place seemed nice and quiet at night.
Nothing negative to say about out experience, plus it's a close enough walk to the city center. Would definitely recommend.

You get what you pay for!! Just a bed!

If you want just a bed and not bothered what the place is like then you'll be ok but this is not the place to book if you expect something nice. The house smells of stale smoke and the bedroom was small and dirty. The sink is on the bedroom and the shower is mouldy and small. It's only 10 minutes from town so locality is about the only thing going for this place. It does not provide breakfast even though the website says it does. Avoid it!!

Terrible

Where to start....... place was not clean. no hand basin in bathroom, hand basin was in the bedroom, lights broken, socket falling of the wall, we had a stool with a tray for coffee making facility(cups teas/coffee). Laughed when I saw it.. no breakfast provided and was told to leave if I didn't like it.. even though I paid for b&b.

Disappointing

I was disappointed with this accommodation. It was chilly when we stayed and the window did not close fully so the room was very cold. We could not get any channel on the tv. There was a musty smell in the room. The tea cups had not been washed, they had just been rinsed and not dried and the water dregs were tea stained. The tea spoons had not been washed at all. This meant that we felt that all the hygiene was suspect. There were teabags but no coffee. There was no bath mat for the shower, also no stopper for the wash basin so it was open down to the drain - this did not look good. There was no shade on the bathroom light and no bathroom glasses were provided.
On the plus side, there were lots of electric sockets, the shower was good, there was ample parking, and it was convenient to the city. But we would not stay again

Overnight Stay in Galway

Host was friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable on the local are. Property provided off street parking . Room was clean and provided a kettle with tea and coffee free wifi was also provided . Property did not provide breakfast with the room rate .
