A Wonderful Stay in Sorrento!

Hotel Flora exceeded our expectations! The renovated rooms are stylish, comfortable, and spotless. The pool area is a peaceful oasis, perfect for relaxing, and the all-day bistro serves delicious dishes with top-notch service.Breakfast was outstanding, with a rich buffet of fresh, local options to suit all tastes. Highly recommended for a perfect Sorrento getaway!

A Travel Advisor Likes This Hotel

This place had some very mixed reviews, and as a travel advisor, I'm glad I trusted my gut as two other friends had stayed here before. First of all, the staff could not have been more wonderful. We had a couple snafus on our trip (not due to the hotel) and they went out of their way to do everything they could to assist. I loved our room, it was spacious, clean and we had two balconies. The ac worked great as well. Location wise, it's a very short walk to into the center of town and bus and train station, with lots of great cafes and restaurants all around. I would definitely stay here again.

Conned

This hotel is motel standard two star at the most.
I had paid a substantial amount of money for a four star hotel and it was awful.
I have included pictures of the bathroom which I am surprised are even allowed to operate today.
Dark and mouldy and awful.
I was there five days and they did not change my sheets.The list is endless I could not include it all here.
I asked to leave after the first night and they refused to refund my money for the rest of the week. In fact a young girl in reception was laughing at me I was so humiliated.I was after paying so much for this holiday I could not believe I was treated like this.
I choose to ignore the negative reviews I was so excited to be going on holiday.
Don't ignore them they are there for a reason.
This is a motel actually it is even located on a main road constant traffic outside.Don't be duped into paying for a four star hotel I wish I had listened to the reviews they were spot on in every area outlined.

Pro's and con's

There were a lot of pro's and con's to staying in this hotel. Firstly the location is excellent, everything is within walking distance and the hotel is surrounded by great bars and restaurants. The staff are kind and pleasant. The view from the balcony was gorgeous, looking over the bay of Naples. The pillows are extremely comfy too. The balcony railing has around a 30cm gap at the bottom, NOT safe for small children (we had our crawling baby with us so she was not able to go out on the balcony). The lift didn't work properly 50% of the time, going in you usually come out at a floor you're not wanting. You can't control the rooms air conditioning and have to call reception for this which isn't convenient. The worst part for us was staying on the 4th floor. The restaurant is above and every day right on 7am we have been awakened by the noise of chairs being dragged and people walking and talking. People also walk along the corridor of the fourth floor to get to the restaurant, which will definitely wake you up. On another positive note, the restaurant staff are brilliant, and the food is nice. The view from the restaurant is also lovely. I would stay here again, but would make sure I'm in a different room away from the restaurant.

Disappointing

Our room was amazing although the air con was too fierce, so left a balcony door open to stop it. There were fleas in the bedclothes and I was badly bitten. The breakfast had wonderful views but the food was restricted and stale by 9am. The sea view from the room was an exaggeration as the hotel was several blocks back from the front.
