Real holiday at Villa Gabriella

A few words to describe the 5 days just spent on holiday by the sea in the proper sense of the term: the genius loci of the historic Venetian Villa already on arrival suspends today's time: a place of silence, surrounded by pine trees and gardens a few steps from the beach and the Gran Viale S. Maria Elisabetta, halfway between the Grand Hotels des Bains and the Palazzo della Mostra del Cinema.
The charming furnished terrace, with its lantern, offers a unique view to fill your eyes with sunrises on the coast, sunsets over the lagoon and Venice, full moon evenings, with the possibility to have breakfast and stop to read with the sound of the waves or admire the view from above.
Alessandra and Stefano, offer their kindness, discretion, hospitality and I greatly appreciated their flexibility on schedules and the ability to use bicycles for guests. Like home. I also thank them for the passage to the vaporetto station outbound with the 500 and outbound with the convertible model apecar. That's very funny.

Quiet get away

We stayed here for 2 weeks,the villa was lovely and quirky, fine for 2 but not as stated it could sleep, the only door in the place was on the bathroom which had a really awful smell, was advertised as a lovely romantic get away, wasnt there was dogs barking 24/7 the whole 2 weeks we were there, the villa for the price that was paid to hire it was not great, all the plates were missing matched all chipped and cracked all the pans act were dirty everything needed washed before we could use anything, the bed was a double bed cheap from IKEA fine if ur not paying a fortune to stay some where was so uncomfortable and creaky, got charged 100 euros on top of what was paid for a deposit which we never got back, tried to charge 50 euros for cleaning when it stated cleaning was included in the price, 50euros for late arrival witch was totally out of our hands, would not recommend staying here, the price is way way overpriced, stated withington walking distance to restraints etc you couldnt walk to anything it was all that far out.

Great accommodation with character and views

We had a second floor apartment with two double bedrooms and a single bedroom we did not use. The kitchen had a large table to sit around and was well equipped. Two separate shower rooms and toilets completed the accommodation. One of the bedrooms had a spacious lounge area with a corner sittee and chair. For the view, we shared access to the roof terrace, up a spiral stair case for a panoramic view of the Lido and Venice - amazing! We took the option of having breakfast delivered to our door at 08.30 each morning. The vaporetto was 14 mins walk. We had a straight forward check in process - texting and calling Alessandro to keep her informed led to a warm and smooth reception.

Great location

Very nice place to stay if you plan to go to Lido, near beach and 10 minutes walk from boat station. Near great restaurants. Italian breakfast at Villa every morning. Helpfull owners, who live at same house.

Great 3 days on Lido

We had a lovely apartment which was very well equipped. We self catered for 2 nights. There is a nice roof terrace but we didn't use it due to time of year. It was a 10 minute walk to the centre. The beach was a stones throw away. The host was very helpful providing a map.
