Quiet and Central
It is surrounded by many restaurants and izakaya.
Kanda station is less than 5 minutes walk, tip use the back entrance, saves time. This station has a metro Ginza line as well as JR lines. Only one stop to Tokyo Station, which is very convenient for us to catch the Shinkansen to our next city.
We had a twin room which was adequate for our need. Temperature can be controlled inside the room, which is super handy. Nice shower and amenities can be obtained from the reception area. The bed is too soft for our liking.
We tried the breakfast once, and we were very disappointed with the selection of food served. Our travel companions said every day was the same type of selection.
Receptionists are friendly and helpful.

I met one of the front desk employees, Nicole, who I cannot praise enough. She was professional, friendly, helpful, constantly checked in on us, and spoke English which made conversing easy! She provided me with sushi recommendations (which turned out to be some of the best sushi I had in Japan) and even provided me with 3 taco recommendations. Throughout my trip, I had the chance to speak with her about our trip and she provided some insight and tips. Overall she was the best part of the hotel and was very thankful to meet her!
The hotel was clean, rooms were decently sized, and the location was optimal! The train station was less than 5 minute walk away and there were multiple convenience stores nearby. There is also and entire downtown area with restaurants and bars which I took full advantage of!
Overall out of the 4 hotels I stayed at while in Japan, I would say Sotetsu was one of my favorites. I would highly recommend staying here.
