Love this hotel

My stay here was amazing - except for the breakfasts. The staff was friendly and very helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect - I walked into el Centro every day of my two week stay. The free breakfast buffet was just okay, but there were many other places to eat nearby.
The highlight of my trip was seeing the eclipse from the rooftop deck by the pool. A once in a lifetime experience!

The location is good and the staff were very friendly. The property is looking tired. The rooms are very tight and the bathroom was in great need of a renovation. Cracked tiles, shower head wasn't working properly and it took a long time to drain. There's also no shelves or room to store bathroom items. The keys stopped working almost everyday so we'd have to go back down to get them re-programed. Since we were only there for 4 nights, it was okay, but wouldn't stay here again.

Worst Stay - smelled like sewer - Staff were very dishonest

I had an important meeting and ONLY got the room on the promise of the manager that I could enter the room early. Once they got my money, we didn't get into the room until 1/2 hour after we were supposed to check-in. It appears the promises made were just to get my money. I would NEVER had gotten the room if I knew this would happen. In addition, the bathrooms spelled like sewer. One bathroom was so bad, we couldn't even use it. I will NEVER use Best Western again and would highly recommend that you don't either. Its just a huge money grab.
