Wonderful hotel and staff

The nicest hotel we have ever stayed it. Room was spacious and beautifully appointed. Staff were friebdly and very helpful. This was our first stop in New Zealand and the perfect place to relax and adjust to the time change. Breakfast was very good and can be included in room rate or not as you chose.

Central, comfortable and friendly

Superb hotel located right in the centre of Christchurch, so within easy reach of most things. Bedrooms were really clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast, and the dinner menu was varied and good value. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Location of the hotel is excellent. All the junior staff at the front desk are sweet and very friendly.
Reception supervisor, Ali Brown, could use some training and skills in handling customers. I found his handling to be quite confrontational and aggressive.

Very good hotel

Great room, excellent location , good breakfast. Room spacious with good shower, products and amenities. Bed comfortable.
Fresh food at breakfast but would have been nice to have fresh rolls and better cheese. Laundry service was not great - our clothes did not look great.

The location was good, very convenient for walking around the city. The staff were excellent and the stay was stress-free. The room was spacious.
