A fantastic place!

Amazing place, it was the perfect solution for our family of 5.. Rooms are super clean, spacious, very well equipped with everything we can think of and had a Fantastic view.
The location was even better with less than 50 meters access to the underground station as well as the bus station.. very convenient. There was a convenience store in the next building with everything you could need, even fresh produce and bakeries.
The staff at the réception were super nice and helpful with a big cheerful smiles on their faces.
To sum up, you can not go wrong with this place, it’s perfect!

Property has zero sound proof between rooms. After 10:00 pm they start calling you to lower your voice .
Toilet paper is limited.

Location is excellent, food, supermarket are nearby. Staffs are very helpful and supportive. We have found few small Cockroaches on floor and removed our luggage to sofa when needs to open.
It would recommend to provide Luggage rack.

Ideal location. Walkable to everything. Clean, quiet, modern. Felt very safe in neighborhood. Very happy with accommodations.

Stay out of the the Erik Vokel Gran Via Suites...... elevator.

Our last day in Barcelona my wife and I were checking out of the Eric Vökel Gran Via Suites at 6am. It should be noted they only have a clerk on duty from 9am to 5pm. Nice hotel but they have an old fashion gate-style elevator- very slow and scary. We got into the elevator and started going down but got stuck between the 1st and 2nd floor. We hit buttons-- noting. We hit the emergency button- a loud alarm went off but did nothing. We called our adult daughter (who was checking out later). She came down and tried pressing buttons and shaking the door-- nothing. She then called the hotel emergency number. For 5 minutes they asked for names, room numbers, staying dates, then they finally said, "We will try to call somebody but don't know if anybody can come out this early." We waited. It was hot. Finally our daughter called back again. Same 5 minutes gathering same information. They replied, "We tried but haven't gotten anyone yet. We will try." Finally I called the fire department, they came in 10 minutes and got us out. We were inside for over an hour. The hotel should have a protocol in place for these types of emergencies, but obviously do not. Pretty irresponsible. You do not want to be trapped inside a hot, old Barcelona elevator.

First of all, we would like to apologize for the unfortunate incident you experienced when you were stuck in the lift during your stay with us. We can imagine how you felt.
I understand that there was a delay in rescuing you, however, the lift company has a commitent to rescue someon inside the lift in about 30 minutes, depending on how far they are from the place where the lift got stuck.
We are truly sorry for any frustration this may have caused you. Please, know that your safety and confort is our main goal.
We have immediately reviewed our emergency protocols to make sure everytning was being fullfilled. We do understand you decided to call the fire department who arrived only in10 minutes.
We really hope, in spite of this situation you had a nice time in Barcelona and enjoyed of all the beauty our our city. We look forward you give us the opportunity to welcome you back.
