Good economical option in Deia

While certainly not the fanciest of places the woman who runs this establishment takes a lot of pride in it and certainly works hard at breakfast to ensure everyone receives a lot of food. Our room was rather basic, but everything worked and it was really clean. The breakfast was sizable and we couldn't even come close to finishing it. There is a trek up a hill in order to get to this property.

Disappointing

I was really disappointed with this property. I enauired as to whether there was AC after booking as temperatures were 35C, repied no - i went to the property to check and it was super hot in the room and the interior was dusty and smelt of cleaning fluid.
I spoke to the cleaner as no one else was there and she told me to cancel to get a refund. I did and was charged full price.
Depsite the good reviews i cannot recommend this place as it needs a good overhaul and to respect requests to cancel if not fit for guests needs. Note it is a hairy drive to park outside the property up through Deia.

Authentic!

This hotel located on the heights of Deia, surrounded by orange and lemon orchards, will offer you a beautiful view of the village and a beautiful sunset. The welcome from the owner is of high quality. Our modestly comfortable room on the second floor had a superb view. The shared bathroom for two rooms was very functional and very clean. The breakfast is of very high quality with local products and a tortilla fresh from the pan. It was a treat!

Very charming

Small hotel full of charm, a little in its original form, but that's what I liked. From our comfortable room, superb view of Deia. Very warm welcome. Very pleasant terrace, with cats. Hearty and tasty breakfast. I would have stayed longer

Charming guest house with fabulous views.

We stayed at this charming guest house for three days in July in a spacious room with a fabulous view over Deia's rooftops and looking out to sea on the horizon. Separate toilet and shower in the hallway. The bathroom was newly renovated. The owner, an elderly lady, took good care of us at breakfast, where we were offered the most delicious coffee with hot milk, freshly squeezed juice, fruit, bread, cheese and sausage and eggs.
The place exudes history - everywhere there are paintings of the Mallorcan landscape done by artists who have lived there for shorter or longer periods, I think. In the courtyard you can sit and enjoy the view under the shade and greet the cats that live around the house. It is just 500 meters to the heart of Deia town, which is small and cozy with good restaurants and a well-stocked grocery store.
