An unexpected visit at Cueli de Viveda Restaurant.

We stopped at this restaurant, recommended by a man from a car park in Santillana del Mar. What a surprise: a very well thought out menu, with a choice of very varied dishes. Another surprise: the quantity and quality of each dish...... And finally, an incredible price: 15€ all inclusive with young wine, water and surprising desserts. Congratulations to the very good, attentive and professional team. We'll come back and advise everyone to try. Thank you.

Good service but very noisy

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night and had a mixed experience. On one hand, the receptionist was very friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated the early morning staff available for guests needing to leave early. I have read about the hotel beforehand and it seemed like the place was popular with both locals and tourists, which made me optimistic about our stay.
The hotel is budget-friendly but you definitely get what you pay for. The rooms feel quite dated and could use some updates. We stayed on a Saturday night and there was a lot of noise from the downstairs dining area which lasted until late into the night. We could hear chairs scraping and constant foot traffic, which made it difficult to sleep, especially with an early morning ahead.
Overall, while the staff was helpful and the price was right, the noise is a downside

Overall, the experience was not bad. Very friendly staff, clean room with some glue(no table lamps, insufficient plugs, regular bathroom cleaning and lack of towel hangers), breakfast justito

Comfortable rooms and good treatment from the staff

The first impression you have when you enter is that it is very dated but the rooms were very good. The bathroom had a hairdryer, bathtub... The room did not have a balcony, it had a television and a closet to store clothes and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The downside is that the food was average.

A must from Santander

This is the real Spain- family run, personal service with unpretentious food which delights the eye and palate. Really lovely stopping point from Santander/it’s a must ., before you go anywhere else! Btw. If you have a dog, there’s a great dog walking field. On a personal note, thank you to front desk for printing our documents and to our evening waiter and morning to the older gentleman who served us breakfast- thank you for a wonderful stay !
