My room was clean and everything worked fine, the AC, Refreigirator, Shower and WC. It was silent - so you could sleep good. Sometimes I had to go down to the receptionarea to get a good WIFI connection. They also had a PC free to use as well as many motorbikes to rent. I usually took the Bus to the beach (35 Bath). This bus goes every half hour between Phuket Town - Karon and Kata. Just hail it on the street anyware - jump in and pay when you exit.
I can also recommend the restaurant just across the street from the hotel.
