Quiet and Relaxing

We have been going to Hotel Alize to use the pool, the beach and the bar. It is a small, quiet place right on the beach (but you shouldn't go in the water because of the current). Had delicious crepes, cocktails, and good wine. You have to bring your own towel.

Nice base, but remote

Stayed for a short time, so limited review.
The location itself have all the visible pros. Nice decor, maintained pool, 1 mn walk and you are at sea, large clean rooms, good selection of dishes to eat from. Add to that friendly staff, and you get what seems to be a winner.
But there are cons... The price is high, and it's just remote from everything. If you are not a seeker of relaxation, and being in a honeymoon type of vacation then you are stuck there.
Not all rooms are great (all clean), but higher ones are the ones with ocean view.
And if you have the ocean at ur feet, who needs a pool.
Would I go back? Don't think so.

Excellent place for relaxing at the swimming pool and eating well

I have been here on some occasions, and in all cases I enjoyed the calm athmosphere, the small but wonderful swimming pool, and eating at the border of the swimming pool. Both sandwitches, pizza, shawarma, and traditional continental plates are available. I did not try pizza, but I tried several sandwitches, shawarma, fish and chicken plates, and all were delicious. The desserts were also delicious. The proces are reasonable. A very good experience

nice little hide away from the downtown Lome business district. Lovely setting and very information place to relax and let the world go by.

The hotel is around 30 min from the center of Lomé (it's in Baguida) and hasn't been much maintained. Internet connexion is very slow and most times, quasi inexistent. Food at the hotel is not the top. The only good side of the hotel is that there is a swimming pool and the view is quiet pleasant.
