The best version of afternoon tea you could hope for

There are many a tea room location in London, but you want one that doesn’t feel like an overly touristy, cardboard cutout and sad rendition of the real thing… what you get at Rubens is refined sophistication! The service, the tea (vanilla chai for me), the bites were everything! Not to mention the beautiful fabric on the wingback couches for two. It was everything I didn’t know I needed out of my tea experience.
Also shout out to Rebecca who was the sweetest server.

Every detail perfect with attention to detail

From our initial walk up to the Rubens, our doorman Jan welcomed us with a warm smile and gathered all our bags for us. The staff was most helpful in all ways and we were very happy to stay there and recommend to others. The English room was excellent for dinner and afternoon tea the best in all of London

Fantastic experience

We arrived on 29/12 and then returned on 3/4 January 25.
We felt at home, my 4-year-old son was given a stuffed animal and prepared in the room a cup of milk with cookies.
The breakfast is fantastic, I recommend you try it. The rooms are spacious and I think they have all been redone recently.
In the afternoon bar they also offer tea tasting with biscuits and very inviting snacks.
In addition, they have a very elegant door main that opens the door and calls you the Taxy that everyone photographs.

Pristine, comfortable & service was 100%.attentive staff.

The service was excellent, very attentive staff.
We met Jessica who was so kind, caring professional & attentive.
Also had the pleasure of meeting Pascal, the front doorman in his smart red uniform!
Absolutely a treasure, he looked after us, his knowledge he has is second to none, & more than happy to share it.
the bed was so comfortable (I slept like a baby!)
The room was pristine,
Comfortable, a pleasure to stay there.
We will return.
Thank you to everyone, absolute treasures.
