Great hotel clean nice rooms nice restaurant and there is a shuttle bus up Stansted airport. Long stay parking also

A little room good for a stop over to the airport. But honestly, it is in the middle of nowhere, shuttle to airport is 4 pounds each way. The reception staff is mostly helpful, but i asked for plug adaptors and first they said they had some and someone else was using them and then they told me they didnt have any at all. The shuttle was not following schedule. Nothing to eat nearby just hotel. London city is 35 pound train away (each way).

The hotel has everything what you need for one night. It’s clean, has friendly staff and the room is spacious. The hotel is a bit further away from the airport than some of the other hotels and it’s worth to mention the shuttle comes a little less often (every 30 minutes and not every 15 like the others). It’s at a good price point and so despite that I would stay again.

Car park very busy on arrival but able to find a space , had checked in prior to arrival which stated “ for a smooth check in “ receptionist couldn’t find booking which took a while to find so wasn’t a smooth check in after all . Room very dated but clean , was not expecting room to be so drab

We checked in around midnight, and when we requested ice, we were told it wasn’t available because the bar was closed. In other hotels, this has never been an issue, even when asking for ice at 3 AM. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable—lumpy and of terrible quality. The ventilation was noisy, making it hard to sleep.
Another downside is the paid airport transfer. The hotel is not within walking distance, and the shuttle costs £4 per person one way for a 6-minute ride. That means for two people, a round trip adds £16 to the cost of your stay. Decide for yourself whether that’s a fair price. It’s not exactly a typical location for an “airport hotel,” yet they still charge for the transfer.
Overall, it’s fine for a quick overnight stay before a flight, but nothing more.
