The hotel was good but the area is unsafe. My car was opened and stole my stuffs, parked in front of the main entrance of the hotel, despite their security cameras.

I hadn't been to this hotel in about four years so I was curious to see what the experience would be. The room was relatively quiet & overall, I was satisfied with my short stay.

We were lucky there were no bedbugs. Room and floor were gross. No bedside tables, very bare bones. They give you hand soap to wash your body and the weakest shampoo I've ever seen. Bed was sad, but could have been less comfortable and the AC worked so it could have been worse, but we'll certainly find something better for a higher price next time --- this wasn't worth it.

Considering this hotel was one of the cheaper options in and around NYC it's not surprising that it wasn't perfect. I will note that it didn't feel as if it had been cleaned well -- there was hair in the tub and food in the refrigerator when I arrived. The bedsheets had some stains.
The air conditioning unit was quite loud and made it very difficult to sleep.
The area isn't terrible, but certainly not the best neighborhood.
Still, the staff was fine and friendly.
