Great hotel!

Check in was quick and easy! Staff members are very friendly and accommodating and there is even a Starbucks in the lobby. Rooms are very clean I had a great stay here will definitely be coming back. Had a great time with the staff and all the amenities.

The room was comfortable and clean. However, the hallways smelled like burned food and body odor. Very hallway was this way. They need to do a we’re job at containing the smells when people cook in their rooms. It was gross!

We’ve stayed here before last year with no problems on the 6th floor.
But this time We stayed on the 2nd floor & there were roaches on the hallway walls.
On our first night, a roach crawled out the wall onto the tub.
The atmosphere has also changed & there are repetitive / limited breakfast options.

My friend Cheryl booked this room for me. The front desk said they had no record of the reservation and was very rude. Angie was her name at the front desk. We gave her all of the information (confirmation number, Cheryl’s name, Cheryl showed her the confirmation with my name in it and I showed my passport. She told us to contact Hotel.com after 15 minutes. Cheryl called Hotel.com and they contacted Residents Inn. And Angie denied what we said. We went back later and there was another person at the front desk who couldn’t find the reservation (we gave Bechir’s last name but he finally found it with Bechir’s first name. They said the reservation was not under Hotel.com but Expedia. How was I supposed to know this? The worst experience!

I wanted to like it.

Sigh. Two stars because the check-in/check-out person (same individual since I checked out after 5 1/2 hours) was so friendly.
The musty smell people describe is real. I can get over that.
The burned out RV in the parking lot covered in graffiti is a little off putting but whatev.
The parking lot felt dark and unsafe, but I was more worried for the safety of my rental than for myself.
But I draw the line at cleanliness.
Dead bug in fridge, live one in my room. I couldn’t identify it but fat, red and the size of an appleseed gave me shivers.
Tap out.
