Budget host stay

The room was large and clean. For the most part, the, staff was helpful. It was very quiet and not far from food, shopping, etc. A good place to stay that is off the highway. I met some nice people, there.

Horrible

Front desk customer service was absolutely disgusting and smelled terrible. The woman was very rude and unhelpful when I tried to book a room in person. When I finally walked into my room and it smelled like cigarettes she said quote “Sorry you can’t afford something nicer.” Never come here

Budget Price for budget room

If your looking for a budget friendly place to stay this is it. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was nice large and clean as well. My only issue was that the tv seemed to be sporadicly working. I am one of those that can’t sleep without it on and it seems they shut off the reception in the rooms. It is a small complaint but it was somewhat surprising to not be able to access the weather in the morning. The traffic on the road outside seemed light during the evenings but by 6 am it was quite loud. If your a solo traveller it’s not a bad place to lay your head down for a night

Safe and Secure.

I felt safe, and it wasn't bad except the breakfast wasn't good at all , cheap. i was told i would get a discount because i have AARP and AAA , I asked and the man said i should of done it when I booked the place. I had plenty of clean towels and clean bedding. they were nice people. Villa Anderson.

Quaint old roadside motel

If you're looking for accommodations similar to a Hilton, Comfort Inn, or even a Days Inn, move on. If you're looking for a clean room on a budget and aren't particular if the furnishings are new, you have velvety and plush towels, or even a garden tub, then you've found a good place.
I stayed here for work and got a king room. The bed's a bit firm, but comfortable. I prefer flatter pillows, so this place was great. The bathroom is on the smallish side with a tile shower, but it's clean. There is DirecTV on a 24" flatscreen. WiFi is very good; fast and never was dropped once. There's a small fridge and coffee maker in the room as well. Now my room was a little drafty by the door but that's not a big deal to me even though it was cold out for most of my stay. Like dogtired2010 said, there are workarounds.
I also want to add that the owner is very friendly and accommodating. She even took my laundry to the local cleaners for me since I never got back to the room before closing time. You just don't see people like that very often and it's little things like that which make you remember a place.
All in all it's a gem that's a little rough around the edges, but is worth it if you can look past any cosmetic hangups you might have. Also, if you don't mind being in a more rural/small town setting, you'll probably like this place. If I'm in the area again for work, this place is the first one I will call. I have even recommended it to a couple of my colleagues.
