Great place to stay on I-80 road trip across Nevada

This Hampton Inn was exceptional for quality of service and cleanliness. We stayed before and wanted to stay again on our way to Salt Lake City. We got to Wells after dusk, weary from driving all the way from Sacramento. We didn’t have a reservation but Drew found us a room and made sure all our needs were met. We stayed at many Hilton brand hotels, domestic and overseas and Drew’s kindness and respectful attitude made our Hampton Inn experience as we’d expect from the best of Hilton.

Check in was quick and efficient. The room was spacious. The beds were comfortable. However, there was a huge crack in floor of shower that needs to be addressed. The soap dish and shower floor were gross. Our gluten free needs were not addressed in a friendly, efficient manner by the server in the breakfast area. Even with a language barrier, she was not friendly towards one of the individuals in our group. However, she was towards someone who she assumed spoke Spanish. The employees at the front desk were always efficient and courteous.

We love this hotel. I didn’t catch the name of the gentleman that checked me in on Sunday 1/5/2025. Great lookin dude. Then there’s Christian who remembered us from other visits. Very awesome service and cool as can be! Suzy and Sevi are the morning wrecking crew that take care of all the breakfast and check outs. What a great hotel!
